Our Beliefs

We are proud to be a part of the Southern Baptist Convention(SBC).  The SBC is the largest protestant denomination in the United States with about 40,000 churches, 6 seminaries, 10,000 missionaries throughout the world and all working together to reach the world for Jesus Christ. 

We are in full support of the "2000 Baptist Faith and Message".  This can be found at the entrance of our church or at your local Lifeway Christian Bookstore

We are conservative in theology, passionate in evangelism, and reverent in worship. We lift up the Holy Bible, lower ourselves, and build up the Church. In a time of cultural confusion our moorings are held tightly to the timeless truths of God's Word.

 

Our Core Values

We Believe - That the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine and Christian living.

We Believe - In the most important commandment, and that the Lord our God is the one and only Lord.

We Believe - That Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, that he died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and is truly the Son of God, our High Priest, Counselor, Comforter and Advocate.

We Believe - That eternal salvation is a precious, free gift from God, not a reward from man's good works, and may only be possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

We Believe - In one God, eternally existing in three Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

We Believe - In the eternal life promised to all who believe in Him.
